The database includes non-reimbursable funding for projects that were approved from January 1, 2013 to December 31, 2019. In order to preserve a clear cut off date to facilitate future surveys, no projects that started from 2020 onwards were included. Data in this study for 2020 forward represent committed allocations for grants approved in 2019 or before. Note that Norway and Germany’s contributions to Brazil’s Amazon Fund that have not yet been awarded are allocated to future years (2020-2025).
