This Annex to this e-book indicates the wide range of data and analytics of relevance to Saudi Arabia water resources that is already accessible. These online services from a range of global and regional data sources, have been collated together into a simple interactive platform. These can be further supplemented by more national data services (e.g. from the Center for Water Management and Coordination and other sources) in the future.
In addition, there are a range of other analytics that can be done by leveraging some of the tools in the Bank’s Geospatial Platform as indicated below.
As there is a need for interactive dashboards not only on data and analytics, but also on knowledge resources (e.g. key articles, reports, videos, presentations, websites) on Saudi Arabia water resources. As this could be another area where the Center for Water Management and Control could play a key role especially in coordination with other Centers (e.g. Water Research). A prototype version based on a simple spreadsheet is indicated below.
